有趣的是，AMD 的第八代 AMD Ryzen 处理器却不见踪影，而官方支持的 AMD 芯片列表仍保持不变。不过，这并不意味着使用 Ryzen 8000 芯片的笔记本电脑不能运行 Windows 11。微软的文档明确指出，"预计处理器列表将无法反映芯片制造商的最新产品"。该公司通常会在发布新的 Windows 11 更新后对列表进行修改，今天的更新就是 "Moment 5"。
随着最新 CPU 列表的更新，Windows 11 正式支持 903 款英特尔处理器、304 款 AMD 处理器和 15 款高通处理器。这次更新的时机很有意思，就在微软开始修改 CPU 指令集要求后不久，一些老旧（比如真正的老旧）处理器就无法运行即将推出的 Windows 11 24H2 版本了。这些指令包括 POPCNT 和 SSE 4.2。
